Under the title Mykita Mylon Goes Optical, Mykita launched the first Mykita Mylon collection of prescription frames at Silmo. The polyamide-based lightweight and durable material adapts to the features of the person wearing the glasses. The new collection, encompassing eight models and priced from €495 for end consumers, will be on sale in all Mykita stores worldwide as well as at retail stores and opticians starting in mid-November. At the beginning, the Mykita Mylon sunglass collection was only distributed to selected retailers and opticians, but will now also be extended to other retailers in 56 countries worldwide. In the framework of its expansion on a global level, Mykita engaged 25 percent more employees in 2012, compared with 2011.
