Vonzipper Optical exhibited for the first time at the Opti trade show. The American company, owned by Billabong International and specializing in sunglasses, goggles, softgoods and accessories, launched its first collection of optical frames about one and a half years ago. Today, the company works with about 80 optical stores in France and plans to enhance its sales in the German and Spanish markets. The company restructured its sales force and set up a special sales team for its new optical line in France. The campaign “Charity for clarity” was introduced six months after the launch of the company's new product line. Vonzipper promises that for every optical frame sold, one will be donated to charity organizations. The first 5,000 optical frames have already been donated to people living in the Philippines.
