Zoobug has signed a deal for CLI Showroom to be its distributor in Spain, Portugal and Andorra. CLI Showroom was chosen by Zoobug, the British children's eyewear specialist, based on its selective distribution of high-end adult eyewear to the top 7 percent of opticians in those three territories. Zoobug said that it saw an untapped market in the sunny countries for children's sunglasses, as many retailers stocked limited quantities. Zoobug is already distributed in other European countries and in the Middle East, and can be found through such outlets as Harrods in London and on Virgin airlines. It has seen an increase in demand since it won in the children's category for its Daisy model at Silmo in 2008. Zoobug was started in 2006 by Julie Diem Le, an ophthalmologist, and launched its first ranges for children in May 2008.
