Silhouette International, the Austrian-based manufacturer of high-end eyewear, is stepping up its investments in the digital field with the launch this month of an online showroom for its business partners. The new web platform will allow the brand to showcase its collections to eye care professionals, in particular through individual and real-time presentations with Silhouette managers. This new tool is coupled with the virtual try-on system that the company implemented in December last year on its website. Consumers from all over the world can try on Silhouette eyeglasses and sunglasses at home using their webcam and are eventually rerouted to a partner retailer near them through a store locator search.
