The Vision Council has won Gold in the 2019 Bulldog PR Awards for its National Sunglasses Day campaign, in the Best Viral Campaign category. The Bulldog PR Awards honor public relations and communications campaigns from the previous year through 40 categories. The Best Viral Campaign category recognizes a campaign for its impact on consumers, and the measurable results of that campaign. National Sunglasses Day takes place every year on June 27. Last year's campaign resulted in more than 1 billion online, broadcast and social media impressions.
